Scientists Plan Man-Made Earthquakes To Combat Global Warming

The Telegraph reports on a geoengineering project by climate change scientists to block the sun by simulating volcanic eruptions:

A global plan to put man-made particles into the atmosphere to deflect the Sun’s heat would rapidly lower global temperatures until cuts in carbon dioxide emissions took effect, they argued.

They acknowledged concerns about geoengineering but said multi-national experiments should begin soon before it is too late to reverse climate change or in case a rogue state carried out separate measures.

The environmental scientists, David Keith of the University of Calgary in Canada, Edward Parson of the University of Michigan and Granger Morgan of Carnegie Mellon University, were writing an editorial in the journal, Nature.

They called for governments to establish a multimillion-pound fund for research into the simulated volcanoes and other solar-radiation management techniques for shielding the Earth against sunlight.

“The idea of deliberately manipulating Earth’s energy balance to offset human-driven climate change strikes many as dangerous hubris,” they wrote.

“Many scientists have argued against research on solar radiation management, saying that developing the capability to perform such tasks will reduce the political will to lower greenhouse gas emissions. We think that the risks of not doing research outweigh the risks of doing it.”

They said the cost of solar radiation management was 100 times lower than the price tag for cutting emissions to achieve the same effect, raising the risk that small groups of nations or even rogue states could act alone…

Holdren Proposed Geo-engineering Option at 2007 Goldman Sachs Conference

It seems there is no limit to the outrageous proposals issued by current science czar and neo-Malthusian miscreant John P. Holdren.

During a keynote address before a gathering of Goldman Sachs luminaries on ‘Energy, Environment and the Financial Markets’ in 2007, Holdren proposed several options to “combat climate change”. The most remarkable of which include (page 43) ““Scrub” greenhouse gases from the atmosphere technologically” and ““Geo-engineering” to create cooling effects offsetting greenhouse heating.”

As we know, it is not the first time Holdren proposed spraying the atmosphere. The interesting thing regarding his PowerPoint presentation before the international bankers, is that it preceded his statements in favour of geo-engineering in 2009 and the subsequent outrage, which ultimately caused him to back-pedal on his proposals. Despite the controversy, Holdren maintained at a MIT-seminar that the geo-engineering option should not be discarded. The elitist Counsel on Foreign Relations wholeheartedly agrees with him. In the course of 2008, the CFR held several workshops dedicated to ‘Planetary Scale Geoenigineering’ efforts after painting the environmental situation as being direr than the facts suggest.

Holdren’s participation in the Goldman Sachs conference was no incidental occurrence. In September of 2006, when Holdren was still director of the Woods Hole Research Center, he teamed up with the representative of the Goldman Sachs Center for Environmental Management. This partnership would supposedly “enable the Woods Hole Research Center to broaden and deepen its efforts to understand the ways that tropical forests contribute to human well-being (…)”. Initiator of the partnership was the eugenics liaison front of the Global Clinton Initiative, which donated generously to stimulate the partnership. As Holdren explained: “It’s particularly gratifying that we developed this project with Goldman Sachs as part of the Clinton Global Initiative- a farsighted effort of the former President to stimulate new partnerships among businesses, researchers, and public-interest organizations to address the great challenges in global health, environment, and economic development“.

Besides the fact that we learn of more and more Obama people being extremely tight to Goldman Sachs, the 2007 PowerPoint presentation proves that the geo-engineering-option was already on Holdren’s mind before he assumed the function of science czar. His presentation also clearly shows that Mr. Holdren is the favourite mad scientist employed by the New World Order.

In the first months of the Obama presidency, Holdren alluded that the subject had come up during White House discussions. Later, when the Associated Press reported on it, Holdren hastily back-pedalled on the subject, saying: “we have to look at the possibilities and understand them because if we get desperate enough it will be considered. I also made clear that this my personal view, not Administration policy.”

Regardless, we have to place Holdren’s actions and statements within a well-documented eugenics context. In 2007 Holdren did not suffer the burden of public office. This allowed him to be quite frank about his ideas, just as he was in 1977, when he warmed to the idea of a “planetary regime” to scale back the human population. He also proposed, putting chemicals in the water supply to ensure decline in fertility and chipping people to control their reproductive capabilities. His long and sordid track record speaks for itself.

TIME Article Pushes Geo-engineering Agenda

A new article in TIME magazine suggests that geo-engineering the planet may be the only way forward to prevent the climate “collapsing”.

Bryan Walsh’s article, entitled Can Geoengineering Help Slow Global Warming?suggests that through the use of fossil fuels we are “already geoengineers” and that “we might as well get good at it.”

“If we geoengineered the earth into a mess with our uncontrolled appetite for fossil fuels, maybe we have to geoengineer our way out of it” Walsh writes, citing a new paper by the think tank Copenhagen Consensus on Climate.

In the paper, co-author Lee Lane cites all the usual suggestions of how the planet could be cooled including space mirrors, seawater-mist and man-made volcanoes.

The most prominent form of geoengineering suggested in the paper, however, comes in the form of spraying sulfur into the air.

“One way to turn down the thermostat would be to spread sulfur particles into the atmosphere, either through artillery or with airplanes, thickening the air enough so that it would bounce some sunlight back …it would need to be done continuously, to keep up with the intensifying greenhouse effect.” the article explains.

As we previously highlighted when this issue last hit the headlines, the process described here is already being conducted by government-affiliated universities, government agencies, and on a mass scale through chemtrail spraying.

The study of past and ongoing upper atmosphere aerosol programs confirms that the government has been active in this field for years.

The topic of geoengineering came to the fore back in April when Obama’s science czar John Holdren commented in an AP interview that he was pushing for radical terra forming programs to be explored.

Holdren’s suggestions for planetary geoengineering exactly mirrored those in publications penned by the elite internationalist group The Council On Foreign Relations, who also called for the implementation of a global Carbon Tax in 1999.

The Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy then back pedaled 360 degrees on his own comments when the wider media picked up on them and turned them into major headlines.

Holdren’s interest in radical geoengineering programs should be of great concern to the American people and the rest of the world given that he has also advocated extreme population control techniques including forced abortions and mass sterilization all under the oversight of a “Planetary Regime”.

Interestingly, Lee Lane, the author of the new geoengineering paper, is also a fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, a common hangout for neoconservatives such as John Bolton, David Frum, Irving Kristol, Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz and John Yoo.

The AEI is renowned for casting doubt on the theory of human caused global warming, and is heavily funded by energy companies, but it is also best known as a forum to engender business opportunities.

These tentative announcements and recycling of ideas to terra form the planet constitute a first step toward introducing the idea to the wider public.

One of the accepted truisms of scientific study is the fact that if scientists are proposing an idea, then those scientists with access to the bottomless pit of black-budget secret government funding are already doing it.

It is highly likely that sulfur spraying and chemtrails are merely one manifestation of “geo-engineering” that is taking place without proper debate, notification or any form of legality, and with a callous disregard for the potential dangers to both our health and our environment.
