Attack Yemen?

By Congressman Ron Paul

Congressman Ron Paul gives his thoughts on Yemen, the attempted airline bombing, the motivations of Al Qaeda, the radicalization of the Middle East, and the negation of our liberties to government provided "security."

“The bigger the problem and the more the fear is built up, the more they take away our personal liberties and turn us all into zombies and the American people go along with it and say as long as it makes us safer I guess it’s OK to go along but it’s time the American people woke up and started realizing that there’s a bit of propaganda going on and quite possibly this incident will not only undermine our personal liberties but will also accelerate our intervention and the violence occurring in the Middle East,”

Fox Launches Infowars Clone Website in Attempt to Cannibalize the Patriot Movement

Foxnationmedia Fox Launches Infowars Clone Website in Attempt to Cannibalize the Patriot Movement

FOX news trys to win over the massive movement of loosely affiliated groups numbering in the millions. The "Freedom Movement" thanks to the Ron Paul Revolution and the power of syndicate radio and film is gaining momentum. So much so like synchronized swimmers FOX news pundits spanning radio and tv have done a 180, talking about the constitution, gun rights and Ron Paul non-stop. Glen Beck has gone so far as organizing the 9/12 campaignand tea party tax protests, Anne Coulter likes Ron Paul all of sudden. Freaky twilight zone or hardcore psychological op?

Well now here is the kicker, you’re one click away from becoming the "FOX nation". The Foxnation.com website is the most blatant attempt yet at how the Right Wing paradigm is trying to reabsorb all of the elements of conservative society who saw through Bush. The very same "fringe" they were just months ago calling   radical, and deserve to be in camps.

The site layout and their "slanted content" is exactly like infowars.com, how low and parasitic these criminals will stoop to maintain control over the political paradigm is astounding to say the least. Unfortunately to them the true patriots of this country will own the boards on this site and FOXnation.com will simply be a nexus point in the battle. Education for the FOXoholic’s will be swift, and will serve only to dethrone what little if any credibility FOX news ever had.

Lets have a real Tea Party and dump the affront to liberty that is FOX News and quick.

Biggest Lie Of 2009: Hillary Claims Obama Has Followed Words With Actions 230409top

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton must take the crown for uttering the biggest falsehood of the year so far, after she claimed that President Barack Obama has followed words with actions, when in reality his every major policy has mirrored or intensified the Bush agenda.

“I think the President’s actions in these last 100 days do match actions with words,” stated Clinton during a House Foreign Affairs Committee meeting yesterday, which is perhaps the most gargantuan lie of 2009 so far.

Clinton was responding to Ron Paul’s comments that the Obama administration should tread carefully in the nuclear-armed country of Pakistan.

As we documented at length earlier this week, on every single major issue that Obama promised he would work to bring “change,” the exact same policies forged by the Bush administration have been continued.

Obamafeatured stories Biggest Lie Of 2009: Hillary Claims Obama Has Followed Words With Actions

From the failure to prosecute top officials in government and intelligence who ordered torture, to the failure to withdraw U.S. troops “immediately” from Iraq, as Obama promised (his plan would leave tens of thousands in the country even after the “withdrawal”), to the staggering support and continuation for the Bush administration’s illegal warrantless wiretapping program - on every issue Obama has done the exact opposite of what he said he would before the election.

And in some cases he has even intensified the Bush agenda - with 30,000 extra troops being sent to Afghanistan and bombing raids on Pakistan being increased, while Hillary herself warmongers about Pakistan being a “mortal threat to the world.”

Meanwhile, Obama’s war chest demands came to a total of around $800 billion in war funds and subsidiary costs just to cover the rest of 2009, a bigger tab than George W. Bush ever got.

Does any of this sound like a move towards bringing the troops home and rolling back the American empire and police state, as Obama promised before he was elected? Is Obama really following words with actions or merely following orders from the same CFR and Bilderberg masters that Hillary Clinton answers to?

Watch the clip below (sick bag on standby for Hillary’s disingenuous praise for Ron Paul supporters).

Bilderbergers Excite Conspiracists

The highest levels of the Obama administration are infested with members of a shadowy, elitist cabal intent on installing a one-world government that subverts the will of the American people.

It sounds crazy, but that’s what a group of very persistent conspiracy theorists insists, and they point to President Obama’s nominee for Health and Human Services Secretary, Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, as the latest piece of evidence supporting their claims.

It turns out that Sebelius – like top administration economists Timothy Geithner, Larry Summers and Paul Volcker, as well as leading Obama diplomats Richard Holbrooke and Dennis Ross – is a Bilderberger. That is, she is someone who has participated in the annual invitation-only conference held by an elite international organization known as the Bilderberg group.

The group, which takes its name from the Dutch hotel where it held its first meeting in 1954, exists solely to bring together between 100 and 150 titans of politics, finance, military, industry, academia and media from North America and Western Europe once a year to discuss world affairs. It doesn’t issue policy statements or resolutions, nor does it hold any events other than an annual meeting.

Past participants have included Margaret Thatcher, who attended the 1975 meeting at Turkey’s Golden Dolphin Hotel, former media mogul Conrad Black, who has been to more than a dozen conferences, and Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Condoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, King Juan Carlos of Spain and top officials of BP, IBM, Barclays and the Bank of England.

It is precisely that exclusive roster of globally influential figures that has captured the interest of an international network of conspiracists, who for decades have viewed the Bilderberg conference as a devious corporate-globalist scheme.

The fulminating is aggravated by Obama's preference for surrounding himself with well-credentialed, well-connected, and well-traveled elites. His personnel choices have touched a populist, even paranoid nerve among those who are convinced powerful elites and secret societies are moving the planet toward a new world order.

Their worldview, characterized by a deep and angry suspicion of the ruling class rather than any prevailing partisan or ideological affiliation, is widely articulated on overnight AM radio shows and a collection of Internet websites.

The video sharing website YouTube alone is home to thousands of Bilderberg-related videos.

“I don’t laugh at the people who claim that they understand the connections, but I’ve never really spent much time tracing that through,” said Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), a former presidential candidate whose libertarian sensibilities have made him a darling of the Bilderberg conspiracists.

“The one thing that concerns me is that the people who surround Obama or Bush generally come from the same philosophic viewpoint and they have their organizations – they have the Trilateral Commission, the CFR [Council on Foreign Relations] and the Bilderbergers, and they’ve been around a long time. And my biggest concern is what they preach: Keynesian economics and interventionism and world planning,” he said.

While it's easy to dismiss the Bilder-busters as cranks, these voices have a way of making themselves heard on the margins of the debate in ways that can prove to be a real, if minor, distraction to Obama’s political team. Bill Clinton had trouble shaking rumors that he was behind a shady criminal syndicate operating out of the Mena airport. George W. Bush was sometimes portrayed as the puppet of clandestine Middle Eastern oil interests.

Obama’s selection of numerous Bilderbergers for key posts “certainly would verify their suspicions,” said Paul, referring to fears of the group’s influence.

“And I don’t think it’s just Obama. Whether it’s the Republicans or the Democrats – Goldman Sachs generally has somebody in treasury. And the big banks generally have somebody in the Federal Reserve. And they’re international people, too. And they’re probably working very hard this weekend, with the G20. And they get involved in the IMF. But that is their stated goal. They do believe in a powerful centralized government and we believe in the opposite.”

If you're reading this blog, you could be a terrorist...

Posted by David Kramer at March 15, 2009 11:13 AM

If you haven't heard by now, the Missouri Information Analysis Center issued a no-longer-secret report about what it considers to be signs of a suspected terrorist:

"The Feb. 20 report called "The Modern Militia Movement" mentions such red flags as political bumper stickers for third-party candidates, such as U.S. Rep. Ron Paul [sic]¹, who ran for president last year; talk of conspiracy theories, such as the plan for a superhighway linking Canada to Mexico; and possession of subversive literature."

Page 6 of the report states:

"Federal Reserve Banks: Members of the militia movement are strongly against the FRS and see it as a mechanism of the elitist New World Order. In November End the Fed protests were held nationwide at Federal Reserve Banks in opposition to the FRS. Many right-wing extremists oppose the FRS and propose a system backed by gold. Federal Reserve banks may also draw attention from anti bailout protestors and activists."

MEMO to Lew Rockwell: Please disavow any knowledge of me and please remove all of my blogs from your archives.

¹UPDATE: David Bardallis wrote to me pointing out that Ron Paul was NOT a Third Party candidate.
